New Event:  Multi Gun Practice
Starting in April we will be hosting a “Multi Gun Practice” for anyone who is interested n learning more about Multi Gun Matches.
Two-gun practices will replicate practical, action-shooting competitions, but at a simpler level.
Two-gun practices will require participants to navigate an obstacle-filled course while engaging targets with both a rifle (typically an AR-platform) and a handgun.
These practices emphasize movement, shooting from varied positions (standing, prone, around barricades), and smooth transitions between firearms.
Participants will primarily use an AR-style rifle (most common is .223 Remington) and a semi-automatic pistol (most common is 9mm).
PCCs will be allowed as a substitute for centerfire rifles if desired.
A holster for your handgun is mandatory.
A sling for your rifle is optional.
Mag pouches are recommended but not required.
Practices will prioritize safety. All participants must adhere to safety regulations to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Throughout the practices, the range will be treated as a cold range.
This means that all firearms must remain unloaded unless under the direct supervision of an RO.
When not in use, rifles must remain in a zippered bag or on a cart (with the chamber flag clearly visible).
Eye and ear protection are mandatory for all, including any spectators.
